If the signs are on the overhead arms at intersections with traffic lights, those signs are maintained by VDOT and can be reported by calling (703) 737-2000 and asking for Maintenance. VDOT also maintains all STOP, speed limit, and diamond-shaped regulatory signs, as well as traffic signals.
