This full day basic level workshop serves as an introduction for those who have little to no experience using the software. Topics covered include: An Overview of the Excel Functions, Opening, Creating, Formatting, Saving, and Editing Workbooks, Moving & Copying Cells, and Positioning Cell Data.
Pre-requisites of attending the workshop:
* You must have the ability to type and use a mouse.
* No children are allowed in the workshops.
* Any participant online under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
* No food or drink is allowed in the Workforce Resource Center or in the workshops.
We provide drop-in, one-on-one service for customers needing digital assistance to support your job search. The Center is here to give you personalized technology assistance and instruction on your own device or using our public computers. (Examples of what we assist with: uploading resumes, downloading programs/documents, saving items or documents to desktop/flash drive/hard drive, password resets, etc. Center staff do not assist with cell phone set-up or operation) Services available 9:30am-11:30am and 1:00pm-4:00pm.
