Subfacility of Loudoun County Recycling Drop-off Centers
Accepted Materials
In addition to the "typical" accepted materials at all Loudoun County Recycling Drop-off Centers, the Loudoun County Landfill Recycling Center also accepts the following items in the Recycling Center Pavilion:- Automotive (lead acid) batteries (no charge)
- Antifreeze: ethylene glycol and propylene glycol (no charge)
- Motor oil, automatic transmission fluid, power steering fluid, diesel fuel, gear oil, turbine engine oil, hydraulic oil, and kerosene (no charge).
- Note: Limited service begins July 19, 2023. Read details in this news release.
- Oil filters (no charge)
The following materials are accepted at the Loudoun County Landfill for recycling for a fee:
- Automotive tires (fee assessed)
- Scrap metal (fee assessed)
- Yard waste, arboreal waste (fee assessed)
