When will taxes be due if I am appealing?
Taxes are due on their due date regardless of whether an appeal is taking place. Taxes not paid by the due date will result in a 10% penalty plus a monthly interest charge. If you pay your taxes in full, and there is an assessment change, any overpayment will be adjusted. Assessment appeals do not relieve you of paying taxes by the due date.
