Is there a fee to attend?

While the Centers are subsidized by Loudoun County, participants are required to pay a daily fee. The daily fee is on a reasonable sliding fee scale based upon the participant’s (and their spouse’s) gross income. Long-term care insurance: Most long-term care insurance policies offer an adult day benefit, if the participant meets the care criteria. Contact your insurance provider to learn more about what benefits your policy provides.

Veteran’s Benefits: Depending on a participant’s service and eligibility, Veterans Aid and Attendance may cover some of the cost of adult day programs. Contact the local VA office at 703-777-0353 or Loudoun.gov/veterans to determine eligibility for benefits or contact the Veteran’s Administration toll-free hotline for assistance at 877-222-8387.

Medicare: Medicare does not pay for adult day services.

Medicaid: The Loudoun County Adult Day Centers are not Medicaid providers.
