Loudoun County, VA (January 6, 2023) – A Reston man has been arrested and charged in connection with the June 11, 2022, shooting of three people on N. Fillmore Avenue in Sterling.
On January 5, 2023, Isaias Lainez-Alvarado, 19, of Reston, was arrested at a residence in Reston and charged with six felony charges. Lainez-Alvarado has been charged with three counts of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony and three counts of Malicious Wounding.
Lainez-Alvarado was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he was ordered held without bond.
Another person, a juvenile from Sterling, was arrested and charged in June 2022 for the same incident. The teenager was charged with one count of Attempted Aggravated Murder, three counts of Malicious Wounding, and four counts of Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
LCSO Deputies initially responded to the area of N. Fillmore Avenue near Fletcher Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. on June 11, 2022, where an adult female victim was located suffering gunshot wounds. Two additional victims also suffered minor injuries and later returned to the scene. All three victims were later released from the hospital.
The LCSO would like to thank the United States Marshals Service and the Fairfax County Police Department for their assistance in arresting Lainez-Alvarado.
