Many parents of children with disabilities feel overwhelmed and isolated. The new Loudoun County Adaptive Recreation support group will give parents the opportunity to connect, support and share with one another.
The group, for parents with children of all ages and abilities, will meet monthly at the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation & Community Services administrative office at 742 Miller Drive SE in Leesburg. Meetings, beginning Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., will typically take place on the third Thursday of every month with the exception of November 2022, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Child care will be provided during these sessions and coffee and snacks will be available.
