Loudoun County, VA (June 7, 2022) – A Leesburg man facing multiple charges in Loudoun County was apprehended today in New Jersey after fleeing the area.
Angad S. Sivia, 30, of Leesburg was taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals Service in Iselin, New Jersey. Sivia was wanted in Loudoun County on charges of two counts of discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, attempted malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony after he fired gunshots at an Ashburn apartment on May 31.
Deputies initially responded to the 21700 block of Omeara Terrace around 3 a.m. last Tuesday, for a report of gunfire. On scene, deputies discovered that an apartment had been struck by gunfire. There were no injuries reported.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspect was in an altercation with residents at the apartment which led to the incident.
Sivia is being held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, NJ on a fugitive of justice warrant pending an extradition hearing.

Loudoun County, VA (June 3, 2022) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a suspect who is wanted in Loudoun County on multiple charges and is believed to have fled the area.
Angad S. Sivia, 30, of Leesburg is wanted on charges of two counts of discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, attempted malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony after he fired gunshots at an Ashburn apartment on May 31.
Sivia is described as being approximately 5’11” tall and 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Deputies initially responded to the 21700 block of Omeara Terrace around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, for a report of gunfire. On scene, deputies discovered that an apartment had been struck by gunfire. There were no injuries reported.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspect was in an altercation with residents at the apartment which led to the incident. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no indication that this case is connected to previously reported gunfire cases in the Ashburn area.
