A diagnosis of early-stage dementia can be overwhelming. The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging is offering a free, five-session, virtual program for individuals living with early-stage dementia and their caregivers.
SHARE For Dementia is an evidence-based, care-planning program based on 20 years of research by the Center for Research and Education, part of the Benjamin Rose Institute of Aging. Using technology, SHARE counselors support individuals and their caregivers in discussions about symptoms, communication, healthy activities, care preferences and planning for the future.
