Loudoun County residents who live in Residential Permit Parking Districts (RPPDs) may now apply for and purchase parking permits online. The county has launched a new online portal to streamline the process for those in the special districts that impose on-street parking restrictions in certain designated areas of the county.
At loudoun.gov/RPPD, the public can access the new portal to apply for and purchase parking permit decals and short-term visitor passes, use an interactive map for locating addresses within established parking districts and find information about using permits and passes. Contact information for help with the online portal and links to resources, such as the Loudoun County ordinance regulating RPPDs and the process for establishing a new RPPD, are also provided.
“One of the Board of Supervisors’ priorities is to improve the services Loudoun County provides to the community,” said Joe Kroboth, director of the Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure, which oversees the administration of the RPPDs. “Creating informative webpages and online tools for the RPPD program improves the customer experience, making it easier for the public to do business with the county.”
More information, including links to the new online portal and interactive RPPD map, may be found at loudoun.gov/RPPD.
