Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in the area of Waxpool Road east of Ashburn Village Boulevard.
Waxpool Road remains closed in both directions between Ashburn Village Boulevard and Regency Drive.
The crash occurred shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday morning when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of Waxpool Road. The driver involved in the crash remained on scene.
Members of the LCSO Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the crash.
