Suspect Arrested in Malicious Wounding at One Loudoun

Loudoun County, VA – A Leesburg man has been arrested after he seriously injured another man during an assault outside of a restaurant at One Loudoun this past weekend.

Dashawn L. Russell, 24, was charged with felony Malicious Wounding on Wednesday in connection with the November 11 assault of the victim outside of the Sense of Thai restaurant located in the 20000 block of Exchange Street in Ashburn.

The victim was struck by the suspect around 1:30 a.m.  He was taken a to local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

Russell remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
