FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 11, 2016 Contact: Liz Mills, Chief Information Officer, 571-251-5568 (mobile) [email protected] LCSO Investigating Apparent Domestic-Related Murder-Suicide in Lansdowne Area Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide at a townhome in the Lansdowne Town Center in the Lansdowne area of Leesburg, Va. Around 9 p.m. on January 10, 2016, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the 19200 block of Winmeade Drive for a reported suicide. Inside the residence deputies discovered a deceased adult female and a deceased adult male. The incident is believed to be domestic in nature and was contained to the home. There is no danger to the community. The case remains under investigation and further details will be released as they become available. ###
