Loudoun County, VA – A Virginia man lost his life early Saturday morning after he was struck by a vehicle on Sycolin Road.
Around 1:40 a.m. November 18, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Sycolin Road near Gourley Transit Drive outside the Town of Leesburg for a report of a pedestrian who was struck by the driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser. The driver, an Ashburn man, remained on scene. The victim, age 27, of Bristow succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim was walking in the southbound lane of the roadway when he was struck by the driver of the Toyota.
