COVID-19 Testing March 16 & 18
: Loudoun County's free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing events continue with the next events set for Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at
Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls
. These are smaller than past mass vaccination events, so the capacity at the site is limited. The testing schedule and links to registration forms that can be filled out ahead of time are available at
Updated Guidance for Operating Child Care Programs during COVID-19
: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued updated guidance for child care providers to help protect children, families and staff and slow the spread of COVID-19.
The guidance is intended for all types of child care programs, including child care centers, family child care homes, Head Start programs and other pre-kindergarten programs.
The guidance outlines strategies that child care programs can use to maintain healthy environments and operations, lower the risk of COVID-19 spread in their programs, prepare for when someone is sick with COVID-19, and support coping and resilience.

V-safe is Available in More Languages
: V-safe is the smartphone-based tool that uses text messaging and web surveys to provide personalized health check-ins after you receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Through v-safe, you can quickly tell the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) if you have any side effects after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Depending on your answers, someone from CDC may call to check on you and get more information. V-safe is now available in English, Korean, simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
