Guinea Pig-nic & Bunny Hop

Join us for a fun day celebrating all things guinea pig and rabbit! We will have activities, learning opportunities for current and future small animal pet owners, giveaways and more! Start designing - our costume contest will be back again this year!

- Small animal photo booth
Costume Contest and Carrot Eating Contest start at 2:45 p.m. Please bring your guinea pigs and rabbits in carriers!
Learning Sessions
- Medical 101: 1:30 p.m., Join our medical team as we learn about small animals! We will cover common issues, health concerns and things you need to know.
- Fostering Small Animals - Making a Big Difference: 2:15 p.m. - Hear from one of our small animal fosters about how she helps shelter pets and makes a big difference (and how you can do it too!)
- Clicker Training for Small Animals: 3:00 p.m. - Agility for guinea pigs? Target training your rabbit? You can do it! Come learn how!
Critters & Crafts
Loudoun County Animal Services, 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA 20175, Saturday, March 25, 2023 - time TBD
Join us for Critters & Crafts! This educational program includes learning about an animal and then making a fun craft! Participants will also have time to visit the adoption kennels at the shelter. Children of all ages are welcome but those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
There is no cost to attend this program but space is limited, sign up today!

Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinics
Keep your pets healthy and safe by joining Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) at one of our low-cost rabies vaccine and microchip clinics. Dogs and cats as young as 12 weeks may participate in the clinic. Pet owners should bring their cats in carriers. Dogs must remain on a leash of six feet or less. No flexi-leads, please. We recommend bringing any prior vaccination records, but records are not required. Have questions? Email Us!
Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Clinic - Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS), 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA
- Tuesday, March 21, 2023 - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
These are a walk-in, low-cost rabies vaccination and microchip clinics. No appointments needed. Cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age are welcome to attend. Please bring cats in carriers and dogs on secure collars/harnesses and non-retractable leashes.
Please stay in your vehicle and follow staff directions for parking.
To receive the 3-year rabies vaccine, you must bring proof of prior vaccination. Cash or check only.
- Microchips: $15 (free for Loudoun County residents)
- Rabies vaccine: $10 (1 and 3 year vaccine)
- Dog license: $10/year (runs concurrently with your dog's rabies vaccination)
Outdoor Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic
LCAS, 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA
These low-cost, spay/neuter clinics are open to outdoor, feral and barn cats in Loudoun County. All cats will be spay/neutered, microchipped, ear-tipped, vaccinated, dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. You must register to attend a clinic. Cats must arrive in a humane trap. Trap rentals are available. Proof of Loudoun residency is required. You must sign up to reserve a surgery spot.
