Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinics

Keep your pets healthy and safe by joining Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) at one of our low-cost rabies vaccine and microchip clinics. Dogs and cats as young as 12 weeks may participate in the clinic. Pet owners should bring their cats in carriers. Dogs must remain on a leash of six feet or less. No flexi-leads, please. We recommend bringing any prior vaccination records, but records are not required. Have questions? Email Us!

Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Clinic - Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS), 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA

  • Tuesday, January 17, 2023 - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  
  • Tuesday, February 14, 2023 - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  
  • Tuesday, March 21, 2023 - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  

These are a walk-in, low-cost rabies vaccination and microchip clinics. No appointments needed. Cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age are welcome to attend. Please bring cats in carriers and dogs on secure collars/harnesses and non-retractable leashes. 

Please stay in your vehicle and follow staff directions for parking.

To receive the 3-year rabies vaccine, you must bring proof of prior vaccination. Cash or check only.

  • Microchips: $15 (free for Loudoun County residents)
  • Rabies vaccine: $10 (1 and 3 year vaccine)
  • Dog license: $10/year (runs concurrently with your dog's rabies vaccination) 

Animal Care Class

Loudoun County Animal Services, Four sessions on Sundays 2/5 -  2/26/2023, 2:00  - 5:00 p.m., Ages 11-15

Is your child interested in a career with animals? Are they hoping to learn more about how to care for pets, and maybe get a pet of their own one day? They’ll love the Animal Care Class at Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS)! This course is for kids ages 11-15. 

Graduates of this course will earn our LCAS Animal Care Certificate and gain in-depth knowledge on animal care and behavior. This class meets at the animal shelter and registration is required.  

Book Club

In partnership with the Loudoun County Public Library, we are excited to offer Book Club! Join us and other animal lovers in the community to read and discuss an animal-focused book each quarter!
