The Loudoun County Juvenile Court Service Unit Shoplifting program teaches juveniles about the law and the consequences of shoplifting, including legal penalties and the long-term effects on their future.
The program provides juveniles with information on how shoplifting affects the merchant, community and the individual consumer. At the conclusion of this course, the juveniles will have been provided with the information necessary to help them make better choices for themselves and their future.
The juvenile must attend the two-hour course as scheduled. The juvenile must also complete an essay, class project, and perform community service work in order to successfully complete this program.
