The former schoolhouse, built in 1914, has been completely renovated and remains the social hub of our rural community.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Virginia historic landmark, the center offers children's programs, a lovely, shaded playground, and the top-rated Bluegrass Concert Series.
The Lucketts Community Center has an advisory board meets at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of the month (excluding August and December). Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the role of the community center, its programs and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services in the Lucketts community. New members are always welcome.
