Juvenile Resource Unit
About the Unit
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Juvenile Resource Unit is a proactive part of the Sheriff's Office that offers many programs to assist and train children in many aspects of crime prevention.

Some of the responsibilities of this unit are:
  • Boy Scout visitation
  • Classroom visitation (for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, offering a variety of subjects such as strangers, weapon / gun safety, etc.)
  • D.A.R.E. 
  • Summer McGruff SafetyCamps (camps for children ages 4-6 focusing on safety-related topics)
