  1. Loudoun County Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

    April 25, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Various Locations

    The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Leesburg Police Department, the Town of Middleburg Police Department, and the Town of Purcellville Police Department have partnered for the first-ever locally run Prescription Drug “Take-Back” Day in Loudoun County. The local partnership continues the efforts of the DEA initiative that sought to prevent increased pill abuse and theft. The sites include, the Eastern Loudoun Sheriff’s Station located at 46620 East Frederick Drive in Sterling; the Dulles South Public Safety Center located at 25216 Loudoun County Parkway in South Riding; the Lansdowne Public Safety Center located at 19845 Sandridge Way in Lansdowne; the Leesburg Police Department located at 65 Plaza Street in Leesburg, the Middleburg Police Department located at the Middleburg Town Hall, 10 W. Marshall Street, Middleburg, VA and the Purcellville Police Department collection site will be located at Bush Tabernacle, 250 South Nursery Avenue in Purcellville.

  2. Technology Safety: What Parents Need to Know

    April 27, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Loudoun Valley High School

    Technology Safety: What Parents Need to Know, will teach parents about the hazards that are faced each day by the youth who have made technological devices a must have part of their daily lives. This class will also provide parents advice on how to talk with their children about the dangers. Specific topics covered in this class will include Internet based technology trends, personal security, legal issues, new technology, gaming trends, crossover technology, influence and recruitment via technology, predator behavior and techniques, image sharing precautions, local statistics and cases, and findings from this year’s youth based initiative, Technology Safety for Teens.

  3. Western Loudoun Station Quarterly Meeting- Round Hill Town Office

    April 28, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Round Hill Town Office

    The Loudoun Sheriff’s Office hosts quarterly public safety meetings in each of the four service areas of the county. All residents, homeowners associations, community groups, and town representatives are invited to attend. Items to be discussed are recent crime and crime trends in your area, traffic safety concerns and other public safety related issues. The meetings will be led by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Captain who represents your service area and Sheriff Mike Chapman or a member of his leadership team will also be in attendance.
