LCSO Continues to Investigate Washington First Bank Robbery, Reward Offered

Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the robbery of the Washington First Bank in the Cedar Lake Plaza in Sterling, Virginia.

Around 12:45PM February 4th the unknown subject walked into the bank and was holding a cell phone to his ear. No conversation was heard by witnesses at the scene. The suspect handed the teller a note that implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect did not display a weapon. He is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 5’10” tall and was wearing a red zip up jacket, a brown golf-style cap and black pants.

Anyone with any information regarding this robbery, or the possible identity of the suspect, is asked to call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information provided to Crime Solvers leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
